A technical hitch led to disappointment for Censored fans.
The Ilkeston band's first single, Play The Game, should have been available to download from June 9 but technical difficulties in America pushed back the release date - but it can now be accessed via iTunes for 79p.
A limited edition CD is also available, on sale at John's News on Bath Street for £2.

Drummer Chris Goring said: "The delay in the downloads being available was very frustrating.

Loads of people contacted us to find out what was going off but it was beyond our, or the record company's, control; the problem was in California where iTunes' technical work is done.

"The good news is that it is now sorted and we hope that people will support us.

"We would love to help the many good bands in this area get the national recognition they deserve. The success of the single both locally and nationally could only help this objective."

Play The Game has received national acclaim as a lively, feel-good summer song.

Censored will be performing live at Junction 7 in Nottingham on June 25.
