NOTTINGHAM'S Theatre Royal has announced the headline cast of this year's spectacular pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, following on from a record-breaking run with Cinderella last Christmas.
Heading the cast will be Nigel Havers and Paul Zerdin. One of Britain's leading actors, Nigel Havers has enjoyed a hugely successful and high-profile stage and screen career.

On television, Nigel has starred in Upstairs Downstairs, Pennies From Heaven, Don't Wait Up, The Charmer and A Perfect Hero.

"I am thrilled to be performing at Nottingham's Theatre Royal this Christmas," said Nigel.

"It's a great opportunity for me to play the baddie Fleshcreep, so come along and feel free to boo and hiss in true panto style."

Paul Zerdin, a star attraction as one of the country's most talented ventriloquists, plays the lead role of Jack.

Jack and the Beanstalk runs at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham, from December 5 to January 17.

Tickets can be booked on 0115 989 5555
