White Post hosting beer festival

The second Stanley Common beer festival in as many months is being planned for later this month.
The White Post at Stanley Common will host the weekend event over June 27, 28 and 29, which will include involvement from local microbreweries as they attempt to keep it locAle!

Twelve guest ales and ciders will be available for sampling alongside fruit wines, and Dave Tizard of festival sponsors Funfair Brewing Co will be on hand to offer the benefit of his expertise from behind his own bar.
Saturday night entertainment will come from resident band So What, while youngsters will be kept amused on Sunday with delivery of a bouncy castle at their family fun day.
There will also be garden games, such as swing tennis, and the weekend will be rounded off with the showing of the Euro 2008 final.
The beer festival will run from 1pm on Friday, June 27 until Sunday evening. For bookings or more information contact Paul or Lyn on 0115 930 0194.
