Linacre Reservoir will be surrounded with clog-making, basket weaving and chainsaw management demonstrations when the Linacre Woodland Festival takes place in August.
The weekend of August 16 and 17 wil see traditional woodland crafts alongside modern woodland management techniques to celebrate old and new countryside techniques.

The Derbyshire County Council event at the reservoir, near Chesterfield, will also have plenty going on for children, with dreamcatcher making and storytelling and singing by a mythical green man.

The festival is free to attend but there will be parking charges of £2 per vehicle.
