Merged academies have bright future

A new era will arrive for Ormiston Ilkeston Academy and Ormiston Enterprise Academy with the merger of these two very different schools due to both being put into special measures.

We will fight for families

As the Labour county councillors for Ilkeston East; Ilkeston West and Ilkeston South, we would like to thank everybody who voted in the elections.

Congratulations to all concerned on another great season for the Robins. Two more trophies in the cabinet, consolidation in the Premier League, and the promise of a great crop of ‘home-grown’ youngsters coming through from the Academy are all encouraging for the future of our club.

Station – economy will benefit

It is great news that Ilkeston will at last get a new railway station.
