Brimington Mrs J. Davis : Obituary

Mrs J. Davis Brimington Mrs Jessie Davis, of Brimington, has died at Spinney nursing home, Brimington, aged 99. Born at Birmingham, and a resident locally for 15 years, she served in the Army, during the Second World War. Mrs Davis enjoyed socialising with her friends. She was treasurer for the Social Fund at Devonshire Court for a number of years. The widow of Arthur she leaves niece June and family, who reside in Australia. The service is due to take place at, Chesterfield Crematorium, on Wednesday, February 22, at 1.50pm. Funeral directors: Wetton Funeral Service, 15 Ringwood Road, Brimington, Chesterfield (tel.01246 232966).
