Mrs E. Robinson : Obituary
Mrs Emily Gledhill Robinson, formerly of Heather Way, Holymoorside, has died at Chesterfield Royal Hospital aged 98. The youngest of two sisters, she was a life-long resident of Holymoorside and her life revolved around the village's United Reformed Church, where she held a number of roles over the years. She enjoyed singing and plays in her younger days, as well as embroidery, poetry, flower arranging and craftwork. She worked at Robinsons, as a dinner lady adn then as mangeress of Telefusion on Chatsworth Road. The widow of Charlie and then Len, she leaves daughters Judith and Christine, grandchildren Phil, Richard, Christian and Katrin and great-grandchildren Joe, Adam, Tess and Charlie. There will be a private family cremation, followed by a memorial service at Holymoorside United Reformed Church on Friday, June 22, at 11.15am. Funeral directors: J.
