AN EREWASH borough councillor wants to know if any of our readers recognise themselves or anyone they know in this photograph.
Ilkeston Central councillor Glennice Birkin, nee Wheatley, appears on the far left of this photograph of her brownies group taken in 1952 or 1953.
The names of the other girls she can recall are Sylvia Wingate, Gillian Smith, Sylvia Durrow, Hazel Horridge, Pauline Chambers, Sheila Chambers and the brown owl stood behind is Miss Brown.
