Ilkeston kids with learning and behavioural problems are to benefit from a special room, thanks to a £500 donation from Ilkeston Rotary Club.

The room at Chaucer Junior School is designed to give students a calming environment to do their studies. Rotarian and qualified electrician Alan Chambers has agreed to oversee the maintenance of all electrical equipment. Pictured is Rotary Club president Mike Perry being thanked by teachers Louise Henshaw and Angela Brown.
