A VILLAGE school has celebrated finally raising enough funds to buy a hi-tech projector with a fun, film-inspired day.
Trowell at the Movies on Friday saw Trowell CofE Primary School pupils dress up as little Harry Potters, Scooby Doos and Batmans.
The projector, which cost more than £2,500, is the result of three years of fundraising through talents shows, Easter fairs, discos and more.
During the event, which was organised by the Friends of Trowell School and governors, the school was open to parents to join in the fun.
Pupils, staff and carers enjoyed cake, refreshments, craft, quizzes, a raffle and more.
Parent governor Kate Morgan said: “It’s fantastic and it shows that all of efforts of all the parents, pupils and staff have paid off.
