Sitting in an ivory tower

Oh dear, my heart bleeds for our local councillors.

They need to get down from their ivory towers and realise just how local people, who voted them in, are struggling to pay for gas, electricity and food. But I’m sure if Labour ran the council, they also would have voted not to cut their allowances.

Was the restoration of the Town Hall ceiling in the council chambers really necessary? The state of Bath Street is disgusting, with dog mess and litter all over the place.

Where is the dog warden that was supposed to be tackling the problem of stray dogs and uncaring owners?

Maybe he’s been made redundant to pay for the ceiling.
