Don’T miss out on your chance to work with the prodigious FORMAT International Photography Festival in Derby in March.

FORMAT is the UK’s largest festival of contemporary photography and one of the most significant in the world and this year’s edition, FORMAT13, will promises to offer the busiest and most ambitious programme of exhibitions and events yet.

Derby will become a photographers’ paradise during the month of March as it is visited by photography enthusiasts from the UK and beyond. FORMAT Festival is currently looking for applications for volunteering positions to help us set-up and deliver the festival.

FORMAT’s success relies on the enthusiasm and hard work of a group of committed volunteers and FORMAT13 will offer volunteers the invaluable experience of working with internationally renowned curators, photographers and festival management team, providing training, support and a reference to help future careers.

Previous volunteers have been employed by Quad, FORMAT and many other creative organisations.

FORMAT organisers are interested in volunteers from all backgrounds and areas of the community, with a range of experience and match individuals where possible to particular areas of interest.

The deadline for applications is Monday, January 14, and interviews will be held in the week commencing January 21.
