Moscow State Ballet in Swan Lake

The dancers and musicians of the Moscow City Ballet are to perform one of the all-time great ballets at Nottingham’s Royal Concert Hall on February 21-23.

One of Russia’s most successful ballet companies will perform Swan Lake, under artistic direction from Victor Smirnov-Golovanov and accompanied by the Moscow Ballet Orchestra

As regular visitors to the UK for almost 20 years, Moscow City Ballet, accompanied by the Moscow Ballet Orchestra, has performed to the highest standards with audiences enjoying its unique style and great classical Russian repertoire.

Brimming with Moscow’s best young dancers, outstanding principals, stunning soloists, beautiful sets and costumes, and a sublime corps de ballet, Moscow City Ballet is one of Russia’s most successful ballet outfits.

This season, the company performs the emotive Swan Lake.

The story of the doomed love of Prince Siegfried for the swan princess Odette has captured the hearts of ballet lovers the world over.

This masterpiece offers passion and magic that few other ballets can begin to rival.

Tickets to see it are £16-£32.50 and are available by calling the box office at the Royal Centre on 0115 9895555.
