Here are a collection of photographs of the celebrations when Queen Elizabeth was crowned 60 years ago, which ‘Tiser readers have supplied us with.

Sheila Fitchett (nee Starbrook) shared her photographs of a Coronation party at the Primitive Methodist Church in Ilkeston.

The people in the photographs all lived in Fullwood Street, Wilmot Street or Lord Haddon Road.

Sheila said: “I can remember the day, it was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed ourselves.”

Cotmanhay resident David Castle let us see his pictures of the 1952 celebrations in Bridge Street.

And Rita Kerry showed us her photographs of the party for neighbours at the former Brunswick Hotel which stood in Bath Street.
