Wilde classic is to be performed
BIG Adventures Theatre Company will present a production of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance Of Being Earnest at Derby’s Robert Ludlam Theatre from February 15-18.
This is a romantic comedy for anyone who’s ever been in love. Mr Worthing is Jack in the country and Earnest in town. His best friend is Algernon in town and Earnest in the country.
Cecily loves Earnest, but doesn’t know he’s Algernon. Gwendolen loves Earnest but doesn’t know he’s Jack. Will either girl win Ernest’s love? And will either Ernest learn the true Importance of Being Earnest ?
