A new 24 hour gym will open in Ilkeston in March.
Anytime Fitness will open on Rutland Street, in the premises above McDonalds.
The gym is part of a franchise that began in America and has 50 clubs in the UK.
In the lead up to its opening they are offering the first people to sign up a discount membership. The first 100 members will pay £24.95, the second 100 members will pay £27.95 and the third 100 members will pay £29.95.
Gym manager, Kay Crane, said they will be the only gym in Ilkeston that is open 24 hours, meaning that people who work shifts can take advantage of the facilities.
She said: “It started as an American franchise and there are 2,500 in the world and 50 in the UK.
“People using the gym at night will be able to use Well beat classes, which are virtual classes with an on-screen instructor. There will be 100 classes to choose from.”
It will also provide employment opportunities for people in Ilkeston, with the recruitment of staff and personal trainers.
The range of classes will include yoga, spin and Les Mills body pump and body combat.
People wanting to find out more can take a virtual tour on the company’s Facebook page.
