AUDIENCE members thought Kimberley Howe might pass out as she watched her new husband win £55,000 in a new television show.
Kimberley, 19, of Manners Street, Ilkeston, was watching James, 28, answer questions about comedian Joe Pasquale to reach the £45,000 jackpot - after they had already scooped £10,000 on a BingoLotto draw.

She said: "I started screaming, everyone thought I was going to pass out.
"We can't believe it!"

The couple, who married just three weeks ago, bought a BingoLotto ticket for the new format show on Sky channel Virgin1 last week. They marked the numbers off and claimed the £10,000 win when the serial number on their card matched the one on screen.

Then they were invited to the television studio to add to their cash prize on the quiz show that was fronted by Joe Pasquale.

James was competing against another contestant as they were asked questions about the squeaky-voiced comedian. The first to reach two points got the chance to spin the wheel of money - and whichever sum it landed on, the winner got to keep.

After a tough time when their seven month-old daughter Danielle was in hospital and James lost his job, the win came at just the right time for the couple. And this week James and Kimberley are still taking in the news - and planning how to best spend the cash!

They aim to put some into a savings account for Danielle and enjoy a holiday, as well as buying a car - once the relevant tests have been passed!
