Eight mums from Ilkeston are set to take part this Saturday in a 26-mile moonlit walk around London for charity.
The group of friends are all the mothers of children at Mapperley Primary School and together they will decorate their bras and join 15,000 women and men in the Playtex MoonWalk.

Last year the event, which has been running for 11 years, raised in excess of £8.5 million towards vital breast cancer causes.

Louise Trueman said: "I'm doing it because quite a few of my family have had breast cancer - my mum had it, so it's quite near to my heart.

"We didn't think we would get on it. We were very lucky and we're all looking forward to it.

"There has been plenty of training."
