Ilkeston's Atlas Composites is expanding its portfolio throughout Europe after help in overseas communications.
And other companies will have the chance to follow suit when the International Communications Masterclass comes to the East Midlands on May 16.

Companies can be put off by the daunting prospect of having to overcome language and cultural barriers
but local firm Atlas has doubled its customer base since it received guidance and now trades in Germany, Italy and Singapore.

Atlas built its reputation on the high performance industry of Formula One motor racing and now manufactures composite components for communications, engineering, aerospace and defence industries.

The masterclass event aims to give delegates the opportunity to improve their international communications by listening to the experts and sharing ideas.

It will include workshops on export planning and website localisation alongside case studies and an interactive cultural session.

The International Communications Masterclass will be held at the Park Inn, Mansfield Road, Nottingham on Friday, May 16. Anyone interested in taking part should go to www.emita.org.uk or call the emita helpline on 0115 947 1767.
