Drugs crackdown
Officers from Ilkeston's Safer Neighbourhood Team have been cracking down on the use of drugs in the town.
Operation Allard took place on April 22 and involved officers carrying out a number of search warrants to pinpoint anyone involved in the use or trafficking of illegal substances.
During the operation a 28-year-old woman from Ilkeston was arrested for the possession of a class A drug and issued with a caution.
The operation was organised in response to information received from the public.
PC Martin Booth, from the Cotmanhay safer neighbourhood team, said: "We're very grateful to the public for the information they provide to us. This community intelligence helps us to run operations and target community issues.
"We feel that Operation Allard has caused major disruption to the drug trade in the area and we plan to build on this success for the future.
"We need the public to help us with this by providing information. If you believe someone in your neighbourhood is involved in any illegal activity, please let us know. You can call us on 0845 123 33 33 or talk to Crimestoppers completely anonymously by calling 0800 555 111."
