A DRUMMER who was in 1970s rock 'n' roll band Showaddywaddy is passing on his musical knowledge by running drumming lessons.
Malcolm Allured, 64, has hooked up with fellow musician Nick Woolgar to put on the classes at the MFN (Miles From Nowhere) club, Shipley Gate.

Malcolm said: "We don't just teach the kids drumming we answer questions about our time touring in bands and supporting artists and teach them all different things about being in a band.

"Drum lessons can be really expensive on a one-to-one basis but we teach in groups which makes it cheaper and more fun."

Classes run from 7.30pm to 9.30pm on Tuesday nights at the MFN club.
Classes cost £5 and are for children aged ten and over.

Showaddywaddy topped the charts with various hits in the 70s and reached number one with Under The Moon of Love in 1976.
