Artists and groups in Erewash are invited to a forum in Sandiacre to share news and ideas, promote their work and share information about funding opportunities and other issues.
CAFÉ – which stands for Culture and Arts Forum Erewash – is keen to encourage more people to attend their meetings and have urged anyone who works in the arts field – groups or individuals – to go along to their next forum on April 1 at Friesland School Performing Arts Centre in Sandiacre between 7pm-9pm.

CAFÉ is supported by Erewash Borough Council's Arts Development Team and is open to those either working or living in Erewash.

Cllr Mike Wallis, Erewash Borough Council's Lead Member for Culture and Leisure, said: "This is an excellent group and offers a great opportunity for all those actively involved in the arts in Erewash – be it on an amateur or professional level – to pool resources, network and share information to everyone's benefit.

"I know the group is keen to get more people involved – from individuals through to local operatic societies or school art departments."

Anyone wanting to attend the Forum meeting must contact the Council's Arts Development Officer Jo Stockdale on 0845 9072244 ext 3234 or 07980 797753 or jolene.stockdale@erewash.gov.uk.
