Councillors last night (Wednesday March 10) approved a plan to build a KFC restaurant on derelict land in Ilkeston.
The drive through chicken eatery is planned to be built in Rutland Street and is expected to create more than 50 jobs for the town.

Developers plan to build offices, a hotel or a nursery alongside the site.
