THREE men covered in pink ink are being sought after a theft at a Stapleford cashpoint.
A lorry was driven into a stand-alone ATM machine at Total Garage on Toton Lane, Stapleford at about 3.50am on May 14 and three men stole cash boxes from inside the machine before running off towards the A52.

Pink anti-theft dye sprayed from the ATM during the theft and police believe the thieves will be covered in the ink.

Detective Inspector Stuart McHattie said: "It is very likely one or all of these offenders have been sprayed with the pink ink.

"This dye is designed to stay on an offender's skin for a long time and cannot easily be washed off.

"If anyone spots a man showing stains of pink they should call Nottinghamshire Police or Crimestoppers immediately, so we can apprehend them."

The offenders used a stolen white-cabbed flat bed truck as part of the theft. It was left at the garage after the incident.

Any witnesses or anyone with information should call West Bridgford CID on 0115 967 0999 ext 6134. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
