Pupils from Hallam Fields Junior School were invited to tour Morrisons supermarket's produce department this week.
The school's gardening club was able to buy tools and materials and equipment to help them grow fruit and vegetables thanks to the Morrisons school vouchers they collected last summer.
Elaine Raison who led the tour at Morrisons said: "We showed them around the produce department so they could see what happened to the fruit and vegetables they have grown at the next stage."
