Two men have been charged with drugs and firearms offences after a warrant in Ilkeston.
John Turner, 54, and Darren Hodder, 43, were arrested following a raid at a property in Hallam Fields Road on Wedneday January 27 by Ilkeston police.

A shotgun and quantities of suspected cannabis and ecstasy were recovered from the house.

Both have since been charged with firearms and drugs trafficking offences.

Inspector Darren Roberts, who's in charge of policing in the Ilkeston area, said: "This latest warrant was executed following intelligence from the local community and I would encourage people in the area to keep coming forward with information.

"People may not always see immediate results because we have to build up evidence before we can act but we will always treat their information confidentially and it will be acted upon positively."

Anyone with information about drugs in the Ilkeston area can contact Derbyshire police on 0345 123 33 33 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
