Young people have been casting their votes in the thousands as they choose their Youth Council representatives.
Seventy two young people put their names forward for the election. The count will be made on April 1.
Each district elects two representatives who feed their views to the council on what young people need and want from its services.
The youth c
ouncil - formerly known as the youth forum - was set up in 2000 to give young people living in Derbyshire a greater voice in the democratic process.
Local councillors and MPs listen to the Youth Council's views and take them into account when they're forming new policies and plans for young people's services.
Anyone from Derbyshire aged 11 to 19 can vote.
Cllr Bob Janes, cabinet member for cultural services, said: "The Big Vote elections are very important in giving young people in Derbyshire an opportunity to voice their opinions about issues and subjects that affect their lives.
"I hope as many young people as possible will check out what the candidates stand for and take the time to vote."
