Pictured are Tori Bingham and Lillie Webb from Albany Primary School who took part in bulb planting at Stapleford’s Pasture Road Recreation Ground, alongside Broxtowe deputy mayor, Councillor Graham Harvey.

Funding for the work has come from The Veolia Environmental Trust and Broxtowe Borough Council who provided £10,118 towards the work.

Council leader, Richard Jackson, said: “The council is very proud of its Community Green Spaces and the works undertaken here have further enhanced this already popular park. The bulbs will provide a vibrant splash of colour in early spring.”
