AN EREWASH DJ swapped her headphones for a harness and helmet and took part in a charity abseil at the weekend.
Amy Naylor, soul presenter on Erewash Sound was part of a team that raised £16,000 for children’s cancer charoty Clic Sargent.
Amy, who was dressed as Lara Croft to abseil 85 feet down the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, said: “It was fantastic.
“Definitely one of the best experiences ever.
“I loved my abseil and can’t wait to do more of the same.
“Thank you to everyone who sponsored me and to those who came to watch and support us.”
With money still coming in, Amy reckons her own personal total will be around £300.
