AN ILKESTON charity has been handed £650 by Long Eaton’s Asda store.
The supermarket gave the money to HART – the Help Amelia Rose Trust – set up to help Amelia Rose Sutton who was born severely brain damaged.
The money will pay for a customised p-pod chair, which is a beanbag type chair designed to help Amelia sit on her own comfortably.
Tickets are on sale now for an Elvis and Rock ‘n’ Roll evening with Tony Doyle, at Ilkeston Town FC on Friday January 27 from 8pm. Tickets are £5 for adults, £2.50 for children.
