Beth ready for city gig
NASHVILLE-based singer/songwriter Beth Nielsen Chapman will be promoting her latest album in a concert at Derby's Assembly Rooms on Friday from 8pm.
Her CD is a brand new collection of songs called Back To Love, and they carry on her tradition of producing a highly diverse output.
A breast cancer survivor, environmental activist, teacher of workshops and lecturer on the magic of creativity, Beth's passion is still the song.
She has penned numerous hits and written songs for many top artists including Bonnie Raitt, Emmylou Harris, Bette Midler, Elton John, Neil Diamond and Willie Nelson. The mega-hit, This Kiss, recorded by Faith Hill, received a Grammy nomination.
