Erewash MP Jessica Lee has taken letters from some of Ilkeston’s biggest employers to Westminster this week, in support of a station.

Atlas Composites and Stanton Bonna, as well as store giants Marks and Spencers were some of the respondents, to a recent appeal for support by Miss Lee.

She presented them to Justine Greening, Secretary of State for Transport, saying: “A new train station is key to reviving the town’s fortunes and I will continue do everything I can, both locally and in Westminster, to reconnect Ilkeston to the network and ensure we get the right result for our town.”
