THE WIFE of a biker who died yards from his home at the weekend has paid tribute to a ‘loving and caring’ husband and father.
Engineer Graham Evans, 42, died just yards from home when his Suzuki 1200cc motorcycle hit a barrier and burst into flames in Wilne Road, Sawley at about 7.50pm on Saturday.
He was driving home to Repton Road from Draycott at the time.
Wife Rachel said: “It’s virtually impossible to describe how we all feel at the moment.
“Graham was a loving and caring husband to me, as well as a wonderful father to our sons Jack and Harvey – he’s left a big hole in all of our lives.
“Graham was a great bloke to be around and it just seems very cruel that he’s not going to be there anymore. It’s an extremely difficult time, not just for his family, but his many close friends too. “
Witnesses should call police on 01773 572 929.
