Jobseekers in Stapleford can get information about opportunities at a major distribution centre on May 11.

Representatives from The Gi Group, who are currently recruiting warehouse operatives to work at the centre, will be attending the fortnightly work club session at Stapleford Library, organised by Nottinghamshire County Council.

Details about the roles available, the work involved, terms and conditions and the application process will be available at the event. Previous warehouse or retail experience for the roles is preferred, but not essential.

Denise Stephenson, co-ordinator said; “I am delighted that The Gi Group has agreed to come to Stapleford Work Club to share details about current job opportunities available at this distribution centre.

“This is an opportunity to work for one of the country’s best-known names in a purpose-built, state-of-the art warehouse with excellent facilities, so I am sure the event will be well-attended.”

The sessions are free to attend and give people the chance to meet others looking for work. For more information log onto nottinghamshire.gov.uk/workclubs
