Following the launch of the Opportunites for Erewash festival of events on Wednesday there are many opportunities to get involved and find out about employment prospects.
One that the partners who have organised the event are keen to push is a free business breakfast event at Ilkeston FC on Friday September 14.
The session is for businesses of all sizes and will give an overview of support on offer to help workforce and business development.
Erewash Partnership is hosting the event and those attending can see a series of short presentations which will feature details of help available with recruitment – including apprenticeships, young people and financial subsidies.
Invited speakers, include the National Apprenticeship Service, Jobcentre Plus and Ilkeston Coop which will proved real-life case studies.

On Friday September 7, Monday 10 and Tuesday 11, learn about self awareness, personal development, work ethic training and more at Ticket To Success at Rutland Sports Centre, West End Drive, Ilkeston.
The same event runs at Long Eaton’s Prostart Training Centre in High Street Wednesday September 12, Thursday 13 and Friday 14.
Learn about starting your own business on Monday September 10 at The Old Police Station, Wharnecliffe Road frmo 9.45am to 12noon.
If you are interested in working in warehousing, attend workshops on Monday 10, Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 at CVS Long Eaton Art Room, Granville Avenue from 9.30am to 4pm.
And learn about working in retail and hospitality at Derby COllege’s Field Road annex in Ilkeston on Monday 10.
