Police had to control traffic yesterday morning, Thursday, March 13, after a car overturned on the notorius Via Gellia road, near Cromford.
The Ford Focus car was discovered overturned on its roof about 8.10am, on Thursday, but no one was seriously injured, according to police.
A Derbyshire Constabulary spokesman said the driver had to be cut out of the vehicle and police were alerted to control traffic until the vehicle and the area could be cleared.
The Via Gellia Road has been dubbed one of the UK’s most dangerous roads by the Road Safety Foundation and has been the scene of many road traffic collisions.
Witnesses to the latest crash can call Derbyshire Constabulary on 101.
