A CHARITY pamper day at Ilkeston’s Community Hospital raised almost £700 for a children’s cancer charity.
Hairdresser, Deb Collighan organised the Yummy Mummy Pamper Day to make money for Clic Sargent.
She said: “I was amazed at how many people were there and how much we raised.
“People really seemed to enjoy themselves and it was so busy all afternoon, none of us stopped.”
Stands offering haircuts, beauty treatments, spiritual readings, Mothers Day presents and reflexology all drew crowds to Charnos Hall at the hospital.
Deb added: “The raffle probably made the most, we were so lucky to have loads of great prizes on offer.”
