A drug dealer has been jailed for nearly four years.
A police spokesman said Jay Betts, 32, was arrested on July 12 in Critchley Street as officers were about to raid a property they suspected he was dealing drugs from.
They arrested him as he passed them in the street prior to the raid.
Back at the address, they said a packet of drugs fell from between Betts’s buttocks.
Betts, of no fixed abode, was handed a 44-month sentence for possession with intent to supply heroin after pleading guilty at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday.
He also received one month for breaching a conditional discharge for a previous drug charge and two months for breaching a suspended sentence for theft.
He had already served 88 days in custody, which was taken off his total sentence.
