Another spate of car crime in Ilkeston

More cars have been damaged in Ilkeston in what police are calling another spate of criminal damage in the town.

Six cars were damaged at The Triangle and Little Hallam Lane area between Wednesday, February 6, and Saturday, February 9, officers have revealed.

The incidents happened just weeks after 15 cars were damaged in West Hallam and Ilkeston town centre.

PCSO Jennifer Salmon said she believes it is the same individuals responsible for both spates.

“We urge anyone with any information to contact us as soon as possible,” she said.

“Please be vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour or individuals to the team.”

Anyone with information about the damage should call officers from the Kirk Hallam and Hallam Fields safer neighbourhood team or Ilkeston Town Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
