Arrests after three break-ins in Cotmanhay

Two people have been arrested after a pair of burglaries and an attempted break-in took place over the weekend in Cotmanhay.

On Friday night, a PS3 games console and games were stolen from a house in Nelson Street and a window was smashed at a Duke Street property, where handbags, jewellery and cash were stolen.

At Fisher Court a rear window was forced but nothing was stolen.

The suspects have been bailed pending further enquiries.
