A 27-year-old man, who was arrested in connection with the death of Ilkeston woman Kimberly Bradbury in June, has been charged with a separate alleged offence.
Miss Bradbury, 21, died suddenly on June 8 in Ilkeston after a night out.
Callum Slack, of North View Street, Bolsover, will appear before magistrates in Derby on Wednesday September 4 charged with two counts of attempting to supply class A drugs.
But Derbyshire police stressed that the charges do not relate to supplying drugs to mental health nurse, Miss Bradbury.
National newspapers linked her death to PMA, a drug similar to ecstasy nicknamed ‘Dr Death’. But police said this was ‘pure speculation’.
An inquest into her death opened on June 13 and will be resumed at a later date.
