Police investigating a glass attack at a Long Eaton bar in September have released CCTV images of people they want to speak to.

A 39-year-old man was in the toilet at Buzz Bar in High Street where he saw two men arguing. He was about to leave the room when he was suddenly struck in the face with a glass.

He suffered serious facial injuries and was discovered by other pub customers, who raised the alarm.

He was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre , where he had a large number of stitches.

The two men in the images released this week were seen in the bar that evening and detectives are trying to trace them.

Both men are white and slim with dark hair. One wore a grey jumper with black writing and a white shirt underneath. The other wore a patterned t-shirt with a dark jacket over the top.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the attack and released on bail but they are not the two in the pictures.

The assault happened at about 10.20pm on Friday September 28. Anyone with information should call 101.
