Cops look into UFO sighting

POLICE have revealed that in the last ten years they have had just one call about UFOs in Ilkeston.

A Freedom of Information request by the Ilkeston Advertiser this week revealed that, on June 8, 2008, a member of the public called the force to report that he had seen ‘around 10 red dots’ in the sky over the town.

The caller said they looked ‘like they were on fire’ and asked if the police had had any other calls about them.

He also said he would decribe what he had seen as UFOs.

Another call to the same division reported seeing a triangular UFO with white lights at the corners above Asda in Spondon.

The caller said it made off towards Alvaston.
