A DRUG dealer caught in Ilkeston has been stripped of £1,500 by magistrates.
Kieran Benbow, 21, was arrested in Roberts Street on November 23 last year after officers spotted him discarding heroin and cocaine.
He was locked up for 20 months at Derby Crown Court on March 6 for possession with intent to supply.
After his arrest, his home in Brunel Avenue, Newthorpe, was searched and £1,500 was found hidden in DVD cases.
Derby magistrates made a forfeiture order to strip Benbow of the £1,500.
He was also ordered to pay £200 costs at the hearing on Monday April 2.
