Hearing fear for Kirk Hallam attack victim

‘PETRIFIED’ residents have told the Advertiser that they are scared to go out in Kirk Hallam at night after an attack that has left a 26-year-old man with serious facial injuries which could cost him his hearing.

The incident happened on Friday night at around 11.15pm outside the shops on Queen Elizabeth Way.

Matilda Briggs, landlady of the Nottingham Castle pub near to where the incident happened, said: “People are terrified. Business has been affected because people won’t go out when it’s dark.”
