Police in Kirk Hallam are on the lookout for hedge hoppers who are disrupting residents at night time.
The youths are jumping over garden hedges and fences on Cherry Tree Close, Godfrey Drive and Oliver Road usually between 10pm and 1am.
Pcso Matthew Lewis said: “Not only is there the cost of repairing the damage caused, but it can also cause alarm and distress to the residents, who are the victims of anti-social behaviour.
“We would like to reassure the community that we are currently working to identify the individuals responsible, and positive action will be taken.
“We will also be speaking to the local schools at the start of the new term in an effort to tackle this behaviour.”
Anyone with information about the hedge hopping or other anti-social behaviour should call 0345 1233333.
