Ilkeston drug dealer is put behind bars

A drug dealer has been jailed for more than three years after he was overheard offering cocaine for sale in Ilkeston.

Nathan Booth was sentenced to 39 months for possessing the drug with intent to supply.

On May 25 2013, customers at The Hop, in South Street, told door staff they had overheard Booth offering people the chance to buy drugs.

The staff detained Booth and called police.

Officers found he was carrying several small bags of white powder and arrested him.

Booth, 27, of Ash Street, Ilkeston, was sentenced at Derby Crown Court on Monday, February 2, after pleading guilty.
