Man flashed at teenage girls

Poilce are hunting a sick pervert who exposed himself to three 13-year-old girls in Ilkeston in broad daylight on bank holiday Monday.

The three friends were walking along an alleyway between Nottingham Road and Erewash Square on Monday May 27 at around 5.45pm when the incident happened.

A spokesman from Derbyshire Police told the Advertiser: “The girls were walking along a alleyway which leads from Nottingham Road to Erewash Square when they noticed a man just standing there.

“They walked past, then turned around to see that he had exposed himself.”

The spokesman added that the three girls immediately ran away to tell their parents what had happened.

Police also confirmed that the man made no attempt to approach the girls.

The pervert is described as white with pale skin and shaved dark hair.

He is thought to be around 5ft 5ins tall with a slim build, wearing a black fleece and loose fitting dark blue trousers.

The teenagers described him as being aged in his late 30s to early 40s.

Derbyshire Police are appealing for anyone who saw the man or witnessed the incident to call them on 101.

The spokesman added: “We are appealing for witnesses to the indecent exposure to contact us.”
