Three men and a woman, facing charges connected to the death of an Ilkeston father-of-six earlier this year, are due to go on trial in the autumn.
Jamie Elliott, 26, of North Street, Alfreton, and Nathan Hall, 24, of Birchwood Lane, Somercotes, have both been charged with the murder of Mick Moss.
Alan Chapman, 27, of Bass Street, Derby, and his mother Collette Booth, 47, of Mill Street, Ilkeston, have been charged with conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm.
All the defendants appeared at Nottingham Crown Court yesterday (Friday June 21).
Mr Moss, 48, of Ilkeston, was found injured at his Canal Street home at 9pm on January 30, and died shortly after.
None of the accused has formally entered a plea.
Booth was bailed while the three men were remanded in custody.
The trial is due to last three to four weeks.
