OAP fights off home raider

An 82-YEAR-OLD woman grappled with a man after finding him in her hallway.

The pensioner, who lives on Darwin Road, Long Eaton, was watching TV when her dog started barking.

She got up to investigate and found the man in her home.

After trying to push him out of the front door she turned and saw another man who was in her bedroom.

She continued to try and force the man out of the house when a third man apperared.

The trio made off and the woman went to a neighbours house for help.

The men had searched her bedroom and lounge but are not believed to have taken anything.

Anyone with information about the incident can call police on 101 or speak anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
